Appas mess started in the year 2001 by Mr. Chandrasekar with 12 seats and 5 workers near Sivakasi municipal office. At first, there was no regular business, but when the business was doing well, in order to give quality food at a low price to the people, vegetarian meals at Rs.10/- and chicken meals at Rs.18/- and fish meals at Rs.15/- were provided. People are getting support as this was a price that no one in Sivakasi could offer.

The shop moved from mess level to the next level with A/c facilities.

It got the support of the people by providing food for special occasions. Today it has grown with 5 branches and 200 workers. We are playing a big role in catering in Sivakasi. We buy quality products from our Super Markets.
